Today we had a leisurely morning in Port Angeles, including breakfast at a creperie. The ferry back to Victoria was way rockier and I had a tough if sea sickness 🙊 Apparently my ancestors were more of the terrestrial variety! Once we landed we ran by an MEC (Mountain Equipment Co-op) for more stove fuel and trail food. Next stop was the airport! This is the first trip that anyone has taken up our offer to travel with us and I can’t think of anyone I’d rather have than rarest of the day was spent driving logging roads to Bamfield. This is a great tiny town in the middle of nowhere. We are staying at The Motel tonight before we head out on the kayaking trip. Also in Bamfield is The Restaurant, The Pub, The Market, and The Float House, home of GPO charters. I appreciate a town that keeps it simple!
