I have now been up for 24 hrs… Today has been just an epic day of getting from point A to point B, with several issues in between. The biggest was the rental car. Two weeks ago they changed their policy on insurance and wouldn’t accept our credit card as insurance. This, plus hidden fees, just about double the price we have been told 😡 They did upgrade us to a brand new Jeep Rubicon so I finally get to drive a Jeep! Moral of the story, don’t use Expedia to book rental cars.

We had an early dinner and then a nice walk around town to get the last supplies and groceries we needed before heading to the Capelinao RV Park. Not the most secluded camping but it puts us in a good position to start our hike tomorrow.
